The selected song - A música escolhida

The organization of the FIFA World Cup soccer chose for the 2010 edition of the event to music remixed Wavin 'Flag (Flag in the Wind, in Portuguese) from the Somali-born Canadian singer K'naan, as the official theme song. The song is from their third album, Troubadour, is extremely well known by the public, being also one of the advertising jingles for Coca-Cola, official sponsor of the World Cup. Another song also played during the event will be "Oh Africa" by Akon, played together with singer Kery Hilson

A organização da Copa do Mundo FIFA de futebol escolheu para a edição de 2010 do evento a musica remixada Wavin’ Flag (Bandeira ao Vento, em Português) do cantor somaliano naturalizado canadense K'naan, como música tema oficial. A música faz parte de seu terceiro álbum, Troubadour, sendo extremamente conhecida pelo público, por ser também um dos jingles das propagandas da Coca-Cola, patrocinadora oficial da copa do mundo. Outra música também reproduzida durante a realização do evento será “Oh África”, do Cantor Senegalês Akon, interpretada juntamente com a cantora Kery Hilson.
